Lapping slurrysuspension additive is very important for the preparation of a good lappingslurry, in any lapping cases, suspension type lapping slurry has betterperformance than non-suspension type lapping slurry because suspension typelapping slurry will form a very even and thin lapping slurry film between thelapping plates and workpiece during the lapping process, so higher lappingpressure can be applied and the geometry shape of the plates is better copiedto the parts, by contrast, for the non-suspension type of lapping slurry,abrasive particles are easy to settle hard in the dropping point of the lappingslurry which causes uneven distribution of the abrasive between the lappingplates and the workpiece, as a result, scratch or breakage issues are easy tohappen and the flatness of the workpiece and lapping efficiency are notguaranteed.
